Butiama Beach Lodge is situated on the west coast of Mafia Island, just next to main town of Kilindoni and outside of the Marine Park bounderies. The lodge is the perfect beachfront retreat to relax and unwind and our beach is the departing point to go to swim with whale sharks. With only 13 bungalows and a maximum occupancy of 32 people it allows you to have privacy and space. We are a family business and aim for casual and relaxed atmosphere which caters for couples, friends or families. From Mafia airstrip it takes around 10 minutes by car. Butiama Beach Lodge was open in 2010.
