Sazani: a home, not a hotel. Taken from the area’s locality the old Swahili term “left over” with its rocky terrain, no good for farming, the long tides tricky for fishing, and facing Eastwards we have a drier/windier climate than the Western coasts. locally seen as undesirable. We saw a home by the sea.: Where wanderers’ wonder. Designed to be our family beach house, we built in the 1990’s, and opened her doors for travellers in 1996. A heritage of 3 generations, providing a warm welcome escape, with its elevated views, sense of seculusion, natural surroundings, and homeliness.
